Seeking links to recommendations of Otter and Ferret works! This is to try and get Otter and Ferret works listed as a 'Hot Rec' on the Daily Snitch (daily_snitch), which requires three separate recs ("with an explanation why they're being recommended" - The Daily Snitch) of a single work.*

Otter and Ferret is officially affiliated with Hawthorn & Vine (H&V), a Draco/Hermione exclusive archive. If you are an H&V member and wish to submit your Otter and Ferret work to H&V, Otter and Ferret has a dedicated sub-category under Challenges, then Off-site Challenges and then at Otter and Ferret.

All works created for any Otter and Ferret exchange, Otter and Ferret Mini-Fest or Otter and Ferret Forever collection are eligible for submission to H&V's Otter and Ferret sub-category.

All Otter and Ferret works can be downloaded as ebooks in the following formats: mobi, EPUB, PDF, and HTML. This is because everything on Archive of Our Own (AO3) can be downloaded as an ebook.

How to Download ebooks on AO3

1. Go to the story you want to download.


2. Look in the upper right-hand corner. Click the 'Download' button.


3. Click whichever file format you prefer.


4. Save the file to your computer. You're done!

Podfic

Unlike ebooks, Otter and Ferret doesn't have the ability to auto-provide podfics of entries. However, here is some information that may be helpful if you're an author or reader who's interested in podfic.

If you're an author and interested in podfic of your work, you can help encourage podfic of your work by explicitly granting permission on your fic's notes or your archive profiles. Some authors chose to only grant permission for certain fics (Limited Permission), while others grant permission for all of their work (Blanket Permission). Blanket permission, if you're comfortable granting it, is often the most useful kind of permission for podficcers. Blanket permission allows podficcers to begin work on a podfic immediately, and time is often a factor in fests, challenges, and exchanges.

"Blanket permission is a way for fan artists to let other fans know their comfort with others playing with their works. It's particularly helpful to podficcers when authors give blanket permission for anyone to podfic their works without having to ask first." -PodAware Day 2 Blanket Permission
