Otter and Ferret Assignments Sent!
Otter and Ferret assignments have been finalized over at AO3, which means you should be receiving your assignment via email within the next twenty-four hours. I had a great time reading everyone's sign-ups, and I think that we'll see some excellent stories in April!
Some Quick Reminders
Remember, you only have to incorporate a minimum of one prompt; you don't have to use all of the prompts. Also, you do not have to incorporate all of their likes into your fic. Presumably you might wish to use whichever of their likes/preferences inspire you, but there's no hard-and-fast required number.
However, please do not include any of their 'do not want's/triggers/dealbreakers. Also, please do not exceed their highest requested rating.
Finding Your Assignment
Your assignment should be in two places:
How Assigning Worked
If you're curious about the assigning system, here's what happened today. I read each request and offer, and tried to create the most overlap in three areas:
1) Prompts and a gift-giver's likes/preferences
2) Offered and requested ratings
3) Recipient's likes and gift-giver's likes/preferences
This may mean that not every prompt, like/preference or rating in your assignment may work for you as a writer, but hopefully the majority of them will!
Questions and Concerns
If you have any questions or concerns about your assignment (and which are specific enough that you feel leaving a comment would tip off your recipient to your identity!), please email me at otter.and.ferret.exchange@gmail.com
If you have a general non-identity revealing question, feel free to leave a comment! :)
Happy writing! I'm so excited to see what everyone writes! :D

Finding Your Assignment
Your assignment should be in two places:
- Your email's inbox; specifically, the email associated with your AO3 account.
- On AO3. Sign-in to AO3 and click your user icon. Look at the list of navigation links on the left. Towards the bottom should be 'Assignments'. Click it.

I did delete one sign-up (I assume it was yours?), because it was completely empty. There was nothing listed for prompts, likes, dislikes, or preferences for writing.
I thought the sign-up was a mistake, seeing as all of the required information was absent. I just concluded that a novice AO3 user had signed-up and later reconsidered (and not knowing how to delete their sign-up via AO3, had simply settled for wiping their information from the sign-up boxes).
I can only assume that there was some kind of Internet/computer error somewhere along the line, as it does seem that you did intend to sign-up (and presumably that you had filled out the boxes).
Unfortunately, at the time I checked sign-ups to close them, there was nothing in your sign-up boxes.
I don't recall the name, and as the sign-up was deleted I can no longer access the name/email address to contact you. However, I hope that you do return to this thread so that you know why the deletion was done (and that there does seem to have been a serious hiccup along the way).

Is there a header format you want us to use, or do we just come up with our own?
